target device: Electrical equipment and other
Defect details:
It was confirmed that two extremely unlikely manufacturing defects exist simultaneously in the same battery cell of a high-voltage battery. In this case, when the battery is fully charged or close to fully charged, the high-voltage battery with the manufacturing defect may emit smoke or heat, which may cause the high-voltage battery and other parts to melt or be damaged, causing a fire. In response to the recall limiting the charging capacity to 80%, please visit your nearest Bolt electric vehicle service center and receive priority software update, and we ask you to read and follow the important instructions below before your visit.>

<※Important Information>

1. For safety reasons, please be sure to change the maximum charge capacity to 90% in the "Target Charge Level Option" through the charging option settings in the vehicle until this recall is addressed.
