Due to durability issues with the belt tensioner, misalignment can occur under certain conditions, causing the pulley and bearing to tilt, which may result in the belt coming off or breaking. If noise or odor occurs due to belt friction, or the belt comes off or breaks while driving, the 12V warning light and the engine overheating warning light may illuminate, leading to vehicle stop warnings. Additionally, if the engine turns off due to the start-stop function, automatic restart or button start may not be possible, increasing the risk of accidents at intersections, warranting a recall.
