If a signal malfunction occurs due to a quality defect in the servo motor position sensor installed in the integrated automatic braking control, it switches to safe mode; however, it has been confirmed that the current software may not be able to detect the abnormality in advance. In such cases, when a signal malfunction occurs and the servo motor position sensor does not operate normally, causing the system to switch to safe mode, the brake warning light will illuminate, a check control message will be displayed on the central monitor, and depending on the situation, additional organizational measures may be required. It has been confirmed that the braking distance may increase, and at the same time, the ABS and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) functions may not operate, which led to a recall.
