Due to a software error in the engine control unit that controls the coolant pump, stress may increase in the vacuum system within the coolant pump and the coolant line sealing, resulting in coolant leakage, which may cause coolant to flow into the electrical switch valve of the coolant pump or exhaust recirculation valve. Recall due to the fact that the risk of fire due to an electrical short circuit cannot be completely excluded if coolant enters the electrical switch valve of the coolant pump or exhaust recirculation valve.
